About

Farhan Arshad

Agency founder, SEO practitioner, and the person who decided in 2026 to rebuild how the work gets done around AI and show the result.

Lahore, Pakistan. Master's degree, University of the Punjab. Clients across six countries, including the US, Australia, the UAE and Canada.

The short version

Eight years of the unglamorous parts of search

I started a digital agency in Lahore in 2018 with a co-founder and a handful of small clients. The work that paid was never the flashy part. It was schema markup, entity building, Google Business Profiles across multiple locations, technical fixes, and content that ranked because it answered the question better than the page above it.

That work compounded into fifty-plus projects across WordPress, Shopify and custom builds, in fifteen-plus industries, for clients in six countries. At one point I was the named owner on seventeen retained US home-service accounts for a white-label partner: cleaning companies, pressure washing, painting, a gym. Two blog posts and two Business Profile posts a month, every month, for every one of them. That is where I learned that retention is a craft, not a personality trait.

Then the job changed

In 2026 two things happened at once. Search started being absorbed into AI answers, so ranking on Google stopped guaranteeing that a business was findable. And the tools for doing the work changed just as fast. I rebuilt my day around Claude, a set of custom skills I wrote for the agency, and a handful of automations. Monthly reporting that used to take a full day now takes a short session. Specs, code, creative and QA get drafted by models and edited by me.

So I started documenting the shift in public: what I build, what it costs, what works. Not a course. A record.

What I want next

A Head of SEO and AI Growth seat, or a senior client success role, with a team that wants someone who has run every layer of the stack himself and can show the receipts. Alongside that, a small number of consulting engagements on AI search visibility, and the YouTube series where the work gets shown.

I keep my likeness honest, which is why the illustrated version of me on this site has the same fuller face, glasses and beard as the real one. No idealised avatar. Same rule for the numbers.

Working style

Rules I keep

  • Everything in writing, dates included.

Fixed scopes, committed dates, and a warning before a date slips, never after. My best client relationships run on a Friday status note.

  • No fabricated numbers, ever.

If a stat on this site cannot be traced to a report, an ad account or an invoice, it does not go on this site.

  • AI drafts, a human ships.

Models write the first version of almost everything I produce. Nothing leaves without my edit, and I say so.

  • Give the good stuff away.

Templates, prompts and checklists are free and ungated. Paid work is for people who want me to do it with them.
