Meta Muse invite code: how to redeem it, what my team used it for, and the downside

First-hand: my team's use and the downside. Reported: terms, prices, availability. Untested: the table.

I have two invite codes for Meta's AI agent, Muse:

LYHQWT
P0V39N
zero, not O

Reportedly, each gives you 1 billion free tokens, and I get the same bonus when you use one. That is a referral, and I am telling you up front so you know why I wrote this.

Quick answer

Sign up at muse.ai/join with a Meta account, open Settings > General > Redeem invite code, and enter a code within 48 hours of creating the account. Terms are from news and guide sites, not from Meta. Last checked 4 October 2026.

My team has used Muse for video creation, graphics and handling accounts, and found it really good. It also has one downside that matters if you work with more than one account. Both are below.

Three things to know before you spend time on it:

  • One analysis of Meta's own documentation found no mention of an invite code. If you do not see "Redeem invite code" in Settings, it is not available to you yet.
  • Reports differ on where Muse works: US only; US and Canada (adults 18+, according to Carly); or US, Canada and Mexico.
  • The sources do not say how many tokens a task uses, or what Muse costs once your tokens run out.

If you are outside those countries, this post still explains what Muse is. The codes may not work for you.

What is Meta Muse?

Muse is Meta's personal AI agent. Meta describes it as an agent that "doesn't just answer questions, it actually does the work" (quoted by OrcaRouter). Instead of handing you a to-do list, it reportedly opens a browser, fills in forms and carries on with the task (Gearlive).

According to Gearlive's launch coverage, each user gets a dedicated virtual machine that Meta calls a Muse Secure VM, and a separate agent called Sentinel watches what goes out to the internet. OrcaRouter says Sentinel is the part that approves, denies or asks you before the agent acts. Reported places to use it: muse.ai, iOS, Android, WhatsApp and a Mac app. OrcaRouter lists only the US on iOS, Android and muse.ai.

How to redeem a Muse invite code

  1. Go to muse.ai/join and sign up with a Meta account.
  2. Open Settings, then General, then Redeem invite code.
  3. Enter LYHQWT or P0V39N. Reports say each code works up to 20 times, so if one is full, try the other.
  4. Do all of this within 48 hours of creating the account. Reports say the redeem box disappears after that, and each account gets one redemption.

If it works, reportedly you and the person whose code you used each get 1 billion Muse tokens.

What could 1 billion tokens cover?

Tokens are the credits an AI uses as it works, like data on a phone plan. These are the plans Gearlive reported:

PlanPriceTokens per week
Free$0100 million
Power$20 a month ($16 on web)500 million
Maximum$100 a month ($80 on web)3 billion

My arithmetic, not a reported figure: if the invite tokens count the same way as the weekly allowance, 1 billion tokens is about ten weeks of the free plan. The sources do not say how many tokens one task uses, so I cannot tell you how many bookings, emails or research jobs that is.

What Muse can do

These are the examples reported at launch (Gearlive):

  • Turn saved Instagram recipes into a shopping list.
  • Build an action plan for a long-term goal.
  • Send invitations and book travel.
  • Negotiate a bill down.
  • Connect to apps you approve one at a time, including Google, Gmail, Spotify and OpenTable.

What my team has used it for

My team has used Muse for video creation, graphics and handling accounts, and found it really good at those. That is their experience, not a test, and I have no numbers to give you. I am keeping the account details generic on purpose.

The coverage I found tested other things. One reviewer ran ten business tasks on her own accounts and averaged 8.0 out of 10 on the scored ones. She rated meeting preparation 10, a weekly business brief 9 and research reports 8.5, and building web pages 5 and inbox triage 6, where Muse wrongly said an email had not been sent (AI Agents Library). That is one person's test, not a benchmark. Carly reports that Muse for Small Business, from 29 September, adds connectors for Slack, QuickBooks, Shopify and Stripe.

The downside my team hit

My team found that once Muse is connected to one of your accounts, it cannot be changed. Muse builds its memory into one board with everything inside, and they could not wipe that memory and reuse it for a different account.

Coverage differs on parts of this, and Meta's current behaviour is not confirmed here. OpenMausbot reports that Meta documents a Reset that "deletes all your Muse data," and that you can ask Muse to forget a topic, though Meta warns it "may still remember information that it learnt from what you deleted." Carly reports that you cannot switch memory off, that training is on by default, and that the Gmail and Outlook connectors each hold a single account. I cannot tell whether the difference comes from your plan or the app version, so check Settings.

My suggestion, not a Meta rule: decide before you connect which account Muse will live on, and do not mix client and personal accounts in one Muse.

Safety: read this before you connect anything

Meta's own warning, reported by Gearlive, is: "Muse may take unexpected actions. Monitor it carefully." Gearlive also reports that Meta says the agent cannot reach your passwords or payment methods, that you can set permissions to "always ask" and delete specific memories. Sources differ on training: Gearlive reports an opt-out, while Carly says it is on by default. OrcaRouter notes that Meta reportedly pays up to $130,000 for prompt injection reports, which are attempts to trick the agent through web pages or emails.

Sensible rules for any AI agent:

  • Start with low-stakes tasks, such as research and drafts.
  • Keep permissions on "always ask" until you trust a task.
  • Do not connect payments or a work inbox on day one.
  • Check anything involving money, a client or a booking before it goes out.

More business uses to test

These are ideas to test, not results. My team's real uses are above. Each one has the check I would run before trusting the output.

Task to hand to an agentWhat to check
Compare five local suppliers and list prices, delivery times and reviewsOpen each source and confirm every figure
Draft follow-up emails to leads from a listRead every draft, and never let it send without approval
Collect public details on 20 competitors into one tableSpot-check five rows against the live pages
Book a table for a client lunchConfirm the booking on the venue's own page or by phone
Turn a messy list of tasks into a weekly planCompare it with your real calendar

Questions people ask

Is the Meta Muse invite code free? Reportedly yes. The code gives both people 1 billion tokens. After they run out, Gearlive reports a free plan of 100 million tokens a week, with paid plans from $20 a month.

Where do I enter the Muse code? In the app or on muse.ai, open Settings, then General, then Redeem invite code. If you do not see it, it is not available to you yet.

How many times can each code be used? Reports say up to 20 times. If one code is full, try the other.

Can I use a Muse code outside the US? Reports differ: US only; US and Canada (adults 18+); or US, Canada and Mexico. I found no confirmation from Meta.

Can I reset Muse's memory or switch it to another account? My team found that a connected account could not be changed and that the memory could not be wiped for reuse. OpenMausbot reports that Meta documents a Reset that deletes all your Muse data, so check Settings, and decide which account Muse will live on before you connect it.

What if the code says it is full or invalid? Try the second code. If both fail, a code may have reached its limit, or the 48-hour window may have closed on your account.

Do I get anything when people use my codes? Yes. Reportedly I get the same 1 billion token bonus when you use one of my codes. That is why I am disclosing it.
